DESIGN PROCESS

The design of Scribble prioritizes a user-centered approach, drawing inspiration from modern aesthetics. The interface utilizes a clean and minimalist design with intuitive navigation, ensuring a seamless experience for users.

As a student project, my research primarily involved competitor analysis and gathering feedback from my classmates. The idea for Scribble stemmed from my personal experience as a long-time user of project management apps. I encountered the need for these specific features in my own workflow, which motivated me to develop them.

COLLECTIONS

This is the place where you store all your resources from all around the web in one place. Whether it's an Instagram post or a Pinterest pin, you can save them all in a beautiful visual board that keeps everything organized and unified.

A NEW TASK

This screen is designed to be user-friendly, with clear labeling and prominent action buttons. Users can easily add new tasks, assign due dates and priority levels, as well as group and filter tasks. The screen also allows users to chat with teammates and add media, making it easier to collaborate and stay organized.

CALENDAR VIEW

With the Calendar view, you can see all your tasks and projects in a comfortable calendar view. This makes it easy to plan your schedule and stay organized.

TASKS VIEW

The Tasks view gives you a bird's eye view of all the tasks assigned to you, regardless of the project they belong to. You can sort them by due date and stay on top of your deadlines.

PROJECTS OVERVIEW

The Project view gives you a comprehensive list of all your projects, with due dates, participants, and the main assignee. You can customize the project colors to suit your preferences, choosing from Scribble's natural shade palettes.

BRAINSTORM WITH AI

The Brainstorming screen is where your creativity can run wild. You simply enter a word or phrase, and AI feature will suggest textual and visual associations, just like a very creative friend would.

The combination of Inter and Anton fonts creates a harmonious and visually appealing typography system for the Scribble app.

The color palette draws inspiration from nature and a calming environment. The soft, muted blue represents stability, trust, and reliability. Complementing this color are warm pastel pink, muted red, and deep teal. These colors evoke feelings of comfort, relaxation, and depth, respectively.

To overcome this, I opted for a familiar interface inspired by platforms like Facebook. By leveraging familiarity, users can navigate through the app intuitively without having to consciously think about each step. This approach ensures that users do not get lost and allows for a seamless user experience. The goal was to strike a balance between offering a range of actions and keeping the design clean and user-friendly.

The integration of AI into task management apps holds great promise for improving productivity and efficiency.
